Kristie Piacine, the owner of Kind Living Designs (KLD), is an experienced workshop facilitator who strives to incorporate messages of self-esteem, courage, confidence & character while focusing on empathy and mindfulness. Curriculum is created and written by Kristie so workshops use various in-the-moment activities, writing & popular culture media to reach out and connect with younger generations, encouraging deep conversations in a safe environment.
With a background in Corporate Communications, specifically Public Relations and Marketing, she understands how to connect with an audience and when needed, handle conflicts and put out fires. As a retail creative & business owner for over 15 years, many hats have been worn!
STEAM-based curriculum & design-thinking skills are woven into all KLD workshops due to her experience in teaching robotics and engineering through lego-based curriculum.
As a Girl Scout Leader & past Service Unit Manager, Kristie has a very soft spot for Girl Scouts. She is a proud Girl Scout of Eastern Pennsylvania SPARK Partner running programming specifically for girls in the Berks County area.
